His current job is to be both the Governor’s Media Aid and the editor of the only paper in this republic.  I am not impressed with his concern for accuracy. We pass a mosque and I point to the loudspeakers. He says there is no electricity in that village.  I’m looking at the electric poles . . . so I say “you mean at the moment?” . . . “No, they have never had electric service,” he says.  I wonder if this guy has been giving bad information for so long that he is incapable of having an honest conversation.
