There are only two objects in the police station; a crank telephone and a green plastic flower-shaped mirror that the second officer stares into for long periods of time. Way too long to look at yourself in front of other people . . . what the hell is this guy doing? …looking at how handsome he is? …being introspective about his life? Who knows. I just know they are hassling us in hopes of collecting a little penalty. But we have checked in with the governor at the border of this autonomous region and eventually they find this out. I would have rather paid a few bucks than watch that jerk look at himself in the mirror forever.
