Ibriham’s mother up until the time of her death carried two guns under her skirt… the second one was in case the first was taken away… her husband was killed by the Imam (priest) at the end of Ramadan… everyone was firing into the air and the Imam’s gun jammed, when he tried to clear it he accidentally fired and wounded her husband… she told the imam to pray her husband doesn’t die because if he did she would kill his only son… The Imam told the Gendarme and 40 soldiers came to her house and threatened her with a body search… They did find her illegal guns, but just the threat of body searching a woman in an Islamic country was enough for her case to be thrown out of court. She was left to raise four children on her own.
