Ethiopia’s Omo Valley | Africa’s Last Frontier, National Geographic Magazine: Mursi Child holds Leaf Frond on the Banks of the Omo River

On the banks of the Omo River, a Mursi child holds a leaf frond which is used as a chair.  The boat in the background is the only one we saw on the river during an extensive six-week transect from the highlands, to origin of the river to Kenya where the river flows into Lake Turkana.
