After the official wedding ceremony at the Khailino town hall, the new couple is followed by the wedding party to visit everyone in town who could not get out of their houses to attend the three-day party. Following Russian traditions, they drink a shot of vodka with each shut-in and share a little food, then go to the next home to visit other Kamchatka neighbors who are too elderly or infirm to participate in the event.Buy This Image
