What’s in the Bag?

Keep it simple…

I photographed my bags of equipment to go on an expedition to Suriname below. But… truthfully… most of the time I just carry one camera like a Leica M9 or some kind of big-ass Canon camera with a 25mm or 35mm Zeiss prime or a 24-105. And that camera is just thrown in a backpack with some batteries, cards, sunscreen, ball cap, sunglasses and passport. If I’m working out of a tent or other unsecured location there is probably a hard drive in that back pack that has all the photographs I’ve taken on the assignment so far… As assignments get more complicated and I need to do a little bit of natural history, or a little bit of archaeology, or a little bit of underwater, the bags grow corresponding to those needs.
