Men aren’t the only ones who bleed. Women in this valley have heavy scarification to make themselves more “beautiful.” Because it is so painful, young women only have one breast scarified at a time.  Each village has one woman that does this kind of work. They use a thorn to pull the skin away from the body and a razor blade to make the tiny cuts.
